Aditi Anand

Aditi is an illustrator, author and printmaker from India. In 2024 she graduated with a distinction from the Children’s Book Illustration MA at Cambridge School of Art.

Her work passionately reflects her origins. She enjoys working with mixed media and is drawn to stories with strong emotional undertones that address difficult subjects.

In 2024, Aditi won the V&A Illustration Award in the Emerging Illustrator category, the MACBI Printmaking Award, and was the runner-up for the Batsford Prize and the Sebastian Walker Award. In 2023, she won the 'Picture This!' Illustration Competition and was placed third in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration.

As an illustrator, Aditi's picture book What Happened to Grandpa was published by Puffin India in 2024 and her author-illustrator debut will be published by Walker in 2026.
